ConnectED students worked in groups to create Rise Up – social justice awareness campaigns. Their goal was to bring attention to laws, policies, or legislation that either inhibit or promote a social movement. In the process, they met with attorneys who dedicate their careers to social issues, worked with peers across the country, and learned about the legal advocacy that propels social justice.
