PROGRAMS
Ready. Set. Law. is a program designed to help undergraduate students prepare for the law school admissions process, explore the skills required to succeed in law school, and gain exposure to legal career paths. The program includes a law school tour, admissions presentation by law school faculty, the opportunity to audit part of a 1L course, panel hosted by campus affinity group leaders; and networking luncheon or reception with volunteer attorneys and law school alumni.
This program is a partnership between JTB and UIC Law’s Rising Attorney Inclusive Summer Experience (“R.A.I.S.E.”) to prepare undergraduate students for the law student experience. Students will explore the skills required to succeed in law school and gain exposure to legal career paths. The program includes an admissions presentation, participation in a 1L course, a conversation with a panel of law student leaders, an opportunity to meet with a federal judge, and more.
